A single design one piece track hood has been
independently tested at the UK Building Research
Establishment to carry all sliding doors weighing up to
400 Kg. Tests carried a weight of 580 Kg with only 0.9
mm hood deflection. The single anodised hood design
gives a consistent appearance across a site irrespective
of the door size. A significant style benefit to the
supermarket, distribution centre, or other end user.

The single design
drop track system also offers a reduction in
inventory and a common installation method for all sliding
doors. This is a benefit to the sliding door manufacturer
and installer.

Drop Trac blends stylish design with
hygiene by use of our
anodized track system and closed hood design with no flat
surfaces to collect water during wash-down.

Four large diameter polyethylene wheels with sealed
stainless steel bearings offer reduced friction and smooth,
silent door movement.

Provided with twin top and side gaskets and bottom
gasket to provide a complete seal when the door moves
inwards and drops down by 9.5 mm when closed.

available to suit the end user requirement.

Offered with plastic end covers which conceal the hanging

An optional totally mechanical self-closing feature with
a timed dwell device which closed the door after a
pre-determined time is offered. This saves energy by not
allowing doors to remain open unnecessarily and reduces
the user’s carbon footprint without the need for an
electrical supply and costly powered doors. An important
