In 1999, the Frank Door Company paired up with a German electronic firm. Given our demands and specifications, this designer created a microprocessor PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that offers great flexibility while being extremely intuitive. Combined with a high quality transmission and motor, this system is unrivaled in the world of cold storage doors.

After the release of DropTrac, the Frank Door Company’s sliding doors gained a large market share of the supermarket industry. Now, our door and track system is the preferred system in all applications throughout North America. In the year 2007, Tesco came to the U.S.A. and Frank Door was the only company allowed to install doors in their facilities.
